new flower photos

when i got to school this morning, my tulips were blossoming and beautiful! I really have enjoyed them.

jeff sent me flowers at work :) . he is out of town today. so i was sad that we weren't hanging out for valentines day. but i got these beautiful tulips from him. its the first time i have ever gotten flowers from jeff. They were sent as buds, so i should see their full glory tomorrow :)

Chinese new year

The chinese new year is tomorrow, and so i decided to scrap the turkey idea and have a chinese theme. this is the food i'm going to make, though I'm not going to make all of it.

Painting, voting and duty(not civic)

Last night jeff and i went to hobby lobby and bought some supplies for me to make some paintings for the house. i am really excited. i am also painting some things to use in an audition to teach at this place called sips n strokes. the audition is on sunday afternoon. i really hope i can get a job there.

also, today we have to go vote. i haven't changed my registration, so i have to go back to shelby county to vote. but we are going to eat with the parents so it will be worthwhile.

i have afternoon duty this week. which is really not fun. it cuts into my nap time. :(
i have to stand outside until all the kids get picked up. it wasn't a big deal first semester, but now there are more kids so it can get rowdy.
